Architect for AdobeConnect, a web conferencing service/product.
Responsibilities:
•    Lead, inspire and influence group of talented engineers to build/maintain the software system.
•    Define and evolve the next generation of Web conferencing software and tools.
•    Full hands on to build SaaS applications to be deployed in the cloud and delivering software components for the product.
•    Collaborate with architects, product management and engineering teams to create solutions that increase the platform's value.
•    Create technical specifications, prototypes and presentations to communicate your ideas.
•    Well versed in emerging industry technologies and trends in the collaborative space, and the ability to communicate that knowledge to the team and use it to influence product direction.
•    Improve User Management, CMS and Authentication models in the system.

Requirements:
•    Bachelors in Computer Science or a related field with 10-12+ years of experience or Masters of Science in Computer Science with 8+ years’ experience.
•    Experience in building and owning highly scalable cloud based server components and services.
•    Experience in creating enterprise class Java application and services and good understanding of Service Oriented Architecture concepts (SOA).
•    Exposure to multi-tenancy environments, and understanding of the security and scalability needs.
•    Strong architectural skill in User Management, CMS and Authentication models.
•    Strong coding skills, including an understanding of optimization, performance needs, OOD design and product quality.
•    Well versed in test-driven development practices including use of JUnit, Selenium and mock frameworks to maximize code quality early.
•    Ability to execute project deliverables within agile and scrum methodologies.
•    Highly motivated and extreme sense of ownership and responsibility towards project needs.
•    Experience in creating or integrating applications in HTML5 is a plus.
