New Event Template Won't Activate/Show to Registrants

Good afternoon,

I have created a new Shared Event Template and edited the Registration Confirmation page. I activated the template after the changes were made.
However, when I create a new event and use this template, the users that register still see the default registration confirmation page after registering. I've checked all the options and had colleagues register with different email addresses, but they all see the same (default) screen. Is there anything/a step I am missing?

Thanks for any advice, I'd be happy to provide more info and/or screenshots.
