Connect 9 CQ Author/Publish Server Best Practice
Hello,
For On-Premise C9 installs, should the Author and Publish services live on separate servers? Or is it OK to have both services run from a single server? (Application server will not run on this system).
Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
CQ author and publish services can be installed on separate machine and also both services can be installed on same machine. In both cases it should work fine.
Thanks,

I've had better luck by separating the Publish and Author services into two servers. For whatever reason, when installed on a single server, Connect itself does not know how to reference the author FQDN. (must be a config somewhere, but where...)
