Email Events with no registration

Is it possible to email participants to advertise an event using the templates but disable the registration piece?  I want to use the templates to advertise the event and in the advertisement include the link to the event.  I do not want participants to have to register in advance.

Any information is helpful.

You could use the events tool to create and generate the invite then modify the text as desired and instead of letting it generate the link to the registration page, just put in the direct link for the meeting room. Then the invited individuals will be able to join the live session without registering.
