Admin user getting 'incorrect login or password' error

I have an adobe connect 7 server that's been dormant for a while, and I'm trying to bring it back online.  To be honest I'm not certain it's ever been used for meetings, but looking through the DB there are users set up, etc.

I also created a brand new administrator using the config panel to start poking around and creating meetings and whatnot, but trying to login as that user gives me the 'invalid username or password' error.  In the db, I can see that the user is in fact there, and I just set the password, so I know I'm using the right one. 

Any suggestions on how to fix this?  Right now, the only access I have is the configuration panel and going through SQL Management Studio to see db records, bc/ none of the admin accounts existing nor newly created seem to want to allow login.

Most likely you have ldap configured with fallback disabled. Go in to your console and check for the fallback setting and enable it. Or disable ldap all together.
