Powerpoint text size suggestions?

Recently I have ran into an issue where Powerpoint documents would have skewed Text and fonts when uploaded to AdobeConnect.

I have contacted AdobeConnect Support and their answer was to purchase the AdobeConnect Presenter.

It sounds like a very expensive solution to a very simple problem...

Can everyone suggest a standard set of fonts and font sizes to use in Powerpoint so we can avoid these issues??

Try saving as a PPT (instead of PPTX) and then upload. That may solve the problem.

The skewed portion is not the presentation file itself but the actual letters....

for example:

This is the Internet

would come out as

This is the Interne
t

This happened multiple times, including files created with Office 2007 and 2010. Also on Office Mac, 2011 and its previous version.
Keynote.

I'll give the convert to PPT option a try next time if I run into this....
