Uploading content into Connect meeting room

I have Connect Pro v 9,0,177,0 and I want to upload a PDF file into my share pod. Help files say this is an acceptable file format (along with .ppt, .jpg, .mp3 etc etc) but when I go to share> Documents > Select from My Computer, the .pdf file is not available. The "Files of Type" list is defaulted to "All supported file types" but .PDF is NOT listed if I select the drop down list to find the file type.

Is there a reason for this? Can it be corrected?

Thank you for any help you can offer!

Re: Uploading content into Connect meeting room

Hi Penny,

While PDF files are supported as Content outside a meeting room, they are not supported within a meeting room (e.g. in a Share pod).

Using Flash Paper you can convert your PDF to an SWF and it will upload to the share pod.

Re: Uploading content into Connect meeting room

I'm not sure if you want users to see the PDF into the meeting or if you want them to be able to download the thing.
if it's being able to download, open the file share pod and upload the file to the list, then users will be able to download.
If it's viewing while in the meeting, follow the previous reply.
By the way, the share screen rocks now with last update, it might be also a solution for you.
