Sound Level Check Problem

After upgrading to Presenter 6, when I start audio recording using the PowerPoint plug-in do a sound level check of the microphone, as soon as I click the button, I get a message that it wasn't able to make the check and then lists  all of the common reasons.  None of the reasons are the cause.  It doesn't even attempt to make the check.  The message is immediate with the click of the button.

I've been a user since Breeze first came out and this is the first time I've encountered the problem.  I've had problems before, but each time it was one of the common problems and each time the test would attempt to run and time out before sending a message.

I have found that if I skip the sound check, I can record, but the results are not what they should be if there would have been a good sound level adjustment.

I have no problems doing a sound check in Captivate or Connect Meetings.
