PPT slides won't advance... unless you move your cursor slightly

Has anyone else experienced this?  The PPT build, animation, or advance will not work on-your-click unless you move your mouse (cursor) ever so slightly over the Connect advance button.  It becomes irritating to have to move your mouse after each and every click.

I've noticed that the key-board arrow keys also will not advance the program when this happens.

This problem only seems to occur maybe 20% of the time, but it's annoying!

Anyone have a fix?

Never faced this issue. Actually shouldn't happen, simply clicking the next button should do the thing for you.

and yeah @curtminer - you should lower the resolution of your profile pic. This one looks too big and only a part of it is shown.
