Restricting information available to learners after taking a test
Hi
we are using the Connect platform as an LMS for self paced learning but also use the platform to run an exam at the end of the course. the exam is created using Articulate Quizmaker and exported using AICC with all the reporting mechanisms switched off.
however after completing the exam the learners are able to see their score and status on the overview and reports page that is part of the content display.
Since we have our own procedures for informing the students of their scores and pass/fail status i want the information presented by the Connect system to be restricted.
Does anyone else have a similar problem or indeed a solution!

Re: Restricting information available to learners after taking a test
Dave,
You might want to consider one of the following:
- Just providing the URL link to your learners (where they will be asked to log-in when clicked) and then they won't see the Connect interface
- Build your own interface and use the XML-API's to log-in and then present the content in your own interface

Andrew

Re: Restricting information available to learners after taking a test
Hi Andrew
thanks for the reply, option 1 might be a good one
option 2, i dont know enough about XML or creating interfaces based on the API, is there an easy ""how to" guide for this ??
thanks
