Event Registration Limits - Confirmation Questions??

Hello,

When setting the registration limit on an Event...I have some questions:

Does the Host count as a registrant?

If the user is added to the invite list but does not click the links does that count against the number anyway?

During my testing I am getting premature confirmations (80% and Full) before the full invite list is accepting/registering.

Thoughts??
