Presenter - How to view inserted videos in powerpoint

I am using Presenter 8 and have imported a .flv video into a slide. I'd like to record a presentation video using Presenter Video Creator, including running this video on a specific slide. When I preview the slide the video is there and working. Otherwise, I can't seem to get the video to run in powerpoint or when I go to record using Creator. Any help is appreciated.
