Can' t edit existing quizzes in Presenter 8

I receive this error message when I attempt editing an existing quiz:  Adobe Presenter has encountered an unexpected problem while working with this presentation. Try saving your work to a new file and restaring PPT.

I have tried this with no success.

I am running Windows 7 SP1 64-bit and PPT 2010 32-bit.

I had received this same error message once I installed Presenter 8 and was unable to publish to the My Documents/My Adobe Presentations folder.  I read a resolution was to create a new Windows profile.  I worked with our IT department to do that and was then able to successfully publish, but now have this same error message for editing the quiz.

Please help with a resolution for this, hopefully without having to recreate the whole quiz.
