Curriculum does not show

I am using Adobe Connect 8 and created a Curriculum. When some users launch the curriculum, they get a blank Adobe Connect page which just has the message For further assistance, please check out the Adobe Connect support center or contact Adobe Connect support. At first I thought it might be an IE 9 issue, but another user using IE 8 had the same issue. Also, the user on IE 9 could see the curriculum if he used Firefox.
