Host/Presenter interference with Pointer arrow

Hi folks,

Has anyone figured a workaround for this:  as meeting host, when I do anything with the attendee list, chat pod or work in the preparation area, I steal the pointer from the presenter.

I should note that I most often promote presenters rather than set their permission as presenters - they are more often confused by the preparation area than helped by it.
