Problem with single sign on

I have a php website and I have a single sign on.  My user logs into the website and uses a link to connect to the "adobe connect api" and logs them in, and brings them to a meeting room.

It works fine.  The problem is that sometimes it does not work.  I have no idea why.  Sometimes it goes to the adobe connect sign in page and does not log in.

What am I doing wrong? 

Can anyone help me?  Has this happened to you?
