Delete folders after Upgrade

After each upgrade there is a new directory in C:\Breeze.  I currently have 8.0.2.0, 8.1.1.0 and 8.2.0.1.  Can I delete the older folders as they are using up about 3GB of space each? Or, do I need to hold onto them for some reason?

Re: Delete folders after Upgrade

You could always move the older folders to your desktop so that Connect can't see them and see what happens. The Content directory is what's really important and I believe that is recreated each upgrade.

Just keep 8.2.1.0 | logs | and content folder in C:\Breeze and move/delete everything else while services are up and running.

Re: Delete folders after Upgrade

I talked to support and they said they can be deleted.  The theory behind them being there is to allow for an easier downgrade, however, the support rep said he has never tried it.

Re: Delete folders after Upgrade

Yeah could be but I do not need them for downgrade because I always do a system level backup and folder level backup of Breeze folder, so that in case I want to downgrade I just need to revert back to my previous backup. Do not delete them, but just move them to some other storage location to gain space!
