Tracking KB articles

We used to be able to track Adobe Connect updates at the url below and used a service to track changes to that page a few years ago.

http://www.adobe.com/support/connect/updaters.html

Adobe stopped posting all updates to their product at this location, and started using this url

http://www.adobe.com/support/connect/

but only posted a few topics per year. There were only two updates for 2011.

Has anyone found a good url/rss feed to watch for all KB articles related to Adobe Connect? We would like a way to check for updates, known issues, and patches for the product. A good example that everyone may not know about is the latest run of patches located at

http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/925/cpsid_92528.html

There doesn't seem to be a way to see or search for all KB articles related to Adobe Connect??

Re: Tracking KB articles

Hey Jason,

Great question.  I asked our top support people about getting this.

The list on the main support page you list contains only the "hot" issues and doesn't reflect all of the KB articles.

All of the KB articles are in the system and visible, but there is not single page that lists them -- you find them via search.

To work around this - you can use the search field with a generic term like 'a' to pull up all of the KB articles (assuming they all have the letter 'a' in them).

Here's a URL that should work:
http://community.adobe.com/help/search. … f=1&area=0

It filters to Adobe Connect and Adobe-only content.  It's a bit of a hack, but it should give you everything in a single location.

Thanks to Lauren Gardner for this tip.

Re: Tracking KB articles

That's still not quite what we are looking for. The search link you provided includes sources from blogs, and adobe.com and nothing sorted by release date or product. I can't even find the KB article I was referring to in the first 10 pages of the results.

I played around with the search settings and came up with

http://community.adobe.com/help/search. … f=1&area=0

but I can not view the results by date, which means the KB article is in the results but hidden on the 5th page and isn't really useful in looking for new content related to Adobe Connect.

Search on "Adobe Connect 8.2 patches site:kb2.adobe.com" on Adobe and on Google and compare the results. The KB article only appears through Adobe's Google powered search. I'm guessing Adobe is using a Google Search Appliance and limiting content that is indexed through Google's main search engine?

We are looking for somewhere we can simply see all new KB articles for Adobe Connect sorted by Date preferably. This would be nice for other Adobe products as well.

Re: Tracking KB articles

This would work if you could sort by date

http://community.adobe.com/help/search. … f=1&area=0

an RSS feed would even be better, but the ability to sort by date would be really nice.
