Adobe Connect Servers Not Talking to Each Other

We have Adobe Connect using two servers, webserver and database.  The application is up but when you try to access a meeting it says the meeting is not found.  The two servers are not talking to each other and we are not sure how to troubleshoot.  Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I am not sure I understand - you have one front-end meeting (Connect) server and the database is hosted on an external server? If you can reach the web portal for Connect, then the meeting server is talking to a database (without a database connection, Connect services fail). To verify it is talking to the right database, check the server settings page on the meeting server (Start > Programs > Connect > Configure).

I would check debug.log and other log files to see if you can get a more helpful error message.

Teresa is right. If you can browse around the web interface then it's making a solid connection to the DB, otherwise it would say "Not Ready" or fail entirely. Can you see other things that are stored in the DB such as User accounts? If you can see Users, can you create a new one or create a new meeting?

We have Adobe Connect 8 and are getting an error message.  It is intermittent.  Some users get it some do not.  Almost like its reaching a limit and then when someone logs out it lets someone else in.  But not necessarily the same meeting.  Any ideas?

    * Your meeting cannot be launched because there is no server available.
    * This request cannot be processed at this time. Please wait for a few minutes and try again.

What OS is your server running? Is there something enabled that is limiting the number of port connections? Do you have any firewall rules in place that limit port connections to your Connect server?
