Connect Pro Connection Test Fails in IE Only

We're running Connect 7.5 SP1 over SSL. When running the connection test in Chrome or FireFox, it works no problem. When running it in Internet Explorer 8, we get a "Unable to connect." error. IE8 doesn't have any problems joining the meeting, it's only with doing the test.

Any thoughts?

Re: Connect Pro Connection Test Fails in IE Only

Does that particular IE have all Java and Flash options enabled in your Advanced settings?

Re: Connect Pro Connection Test Fails in IE Only

I just ran into this problem in Connect 8. Exact same issue. However, if I use the test on the adobe servers, I do not have the problem: http://na1cps.adobeconnect.com/common/h … g_test.htm

We are, in fact, having issue with our Java permissions here (it's a gov. shop) ... but if it is a Java setting issue, why would the browser still allow the test to work on the Adobe servers?

Please advise.

Re: Connect Pro Connection Test Fails in IE Only

For those running Connect 8.2, there's a fix for the false connection test errors on IE browsers.  It's included in the latest rollup patch from Adobe (version 8.2.1.3).  See
