How to delete background music of a meeting recording

Hello,

We recently recorded an adobe connect session at work with the hopes of converting the recording to mp4 and posting it on our online course.

At the beginning of our adobe connect session, we heard background music playing but eventually found a way to end the music (by selecting the phone icon of adobe connect and selecting "Pause broadcast"). When we listened to the recording of the session, it seems the background music was recorded even though we already stopped it (or thought we did) before beginning the session.

Does anyone know how we can delete the background music in our adobe connect session recording?

Thank you!

You may need to delete the audio file in the source recording files. I'd do this by adding /output/NameHere.zip?download=zip to the URL for your recording. You should then see an FLV or MP3 file that is just numbers. Something like -10_1_4.flv. That would be the telephone audio that is the hold music. Just delete or remove that file and then re-upload the zip to the Connect Content library. That should then play back without the music in the background.
