Webcam launch & Video playback problems

Anybody else having the following issues?

1. When attempting to start your webcam the video window opens but there is no option to start sharing in the window. It is just the gray window. Even when using the 3 dot menu item I am unable to "Start Live Sharing". I am using Standard View when this issue takes place but when I switch to Classic View I have no issue sharing my webcam. It seems intermittent as well, it will work fine one week and the next I will have issues on a few days.

2. I understand that there are specs ((MP4 | 720 X 480 | 600-800 kbps | 30 FPS)) for video playback to reduce buffering and lag when sharing in AC but I am finding that when using Standard View there are videos that would play with no issue in Classic View despite not meeting the above specs meanwhile in Standard View the same videos are having issues playing back. How come they work flawlessly in CV but not SV.

Are these things that are being addressed in the upcoming February release? Thanks in advance
