"Error in joining Audio Conference"

Have you received the following error message? What was your workaround for it? I have a session that is currently experiencing this issue right now.

"Error in joining Audio Conference

We are experiencing some problem with the Universal Voice service.

Conference audio will not be broadcast or recorded for meeting."

Adobe System Status website,, isn't giving me a clear answer if Connect systems are affected.

I'm not seeing any known issues either.
Unlike Integrated Telephony, which uses an API to connect to the audio provider, Universal Voice means that Adobe Connect is essentially dialling into your audio conference as another participant. It can then broadcast that audio to others in the room and record it.

It sounds like the room was not able to dial in successfully. I would try a couple more times and if that doesn't work, reach out to your audio provider.

The problem could also be with the set of instructions Adobe Connect is using to dial-in, but if these have been working until now, that seems unlikely.
