Manually Adjust Event Attendance Status value to "Attended"


Does anyone know if there is a procedure or API call I can execute to modify the Attendance Status for an Event attendee?

We conduct a lot of vILT Events. but many times registrants encounter difficulties launching or logging into the Event URL. We generally will direct them to access the session using the Seminar Room URL and simply entering as a Guest.

While Guest attendance will appear on Seminar reports, the actual Event reports indicate the Attendance Status for that registrant as "Not Attended". When post-Event automated Emails are generated then, those registrants are not included in the batch of emails sent. This causes an issue in that we often will include a certificate of attendance within that email.

Our desire is to manually adjust the Attendance Status for that registrant at during or at the conclusion of the Event.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
