Adobe Connect application for desktop

Hi,

Can Adobe Connect web services be used with the Adobe Connect application for desktop?
For example if I use web services for login the user and redirect that user to specific Adobe Connect meeting, to open the meeting in the application directly (if it's installed on the computer) not on browser?

I'm not sure if this exactly answers your question but using the following calls will either force the app or not the app.

roomURL/?lightning=true  - This forces the app.

roomURL/?launcher=false - This forces the Flash Player in the browser
