Adobe Connect 9.7 standalone

According to the below article 9.7 will introduce an independent application. However there is no mention of a macOS client, only a Windows client and a Windows installer. Will 9.7 be rolling out a macOS application as well? If not, is there a timeline for Mac users?

The article has a link for both the Mac and Windows application. The link to download the Mac version is http://www.adobe.com/go/ConnectSetupMac.

You should be able to install it and use it with 9.6.2.
