Video Sharing Best Practices with Share Pod
During a few recent educational webinars, our speakers have tried to use video with mixed success. All video sharing has been done through the Share Pod. Video and Audio playback were spotty, leaving large gaps in the presentation.
I was wondering if there were some best practices concerning file type, file size, etc. to help improve performance. I can't seem to find this topic covered in the any of the best practices documents or videos.
Thanks!

Re: Video Sharing Best Practices with Share Pod
The settings I try to stick to are:
MP4
H.264
720 X 480 (or smaller if possible)
800 kbps
MP3 audio
Videos are progressive rather than interlaced.
If performance is an issue, then you can try using lower settings than these. With some trial and error you'll find that happy middle ground where you get the quality that is acceptable for the lowest bandwidth cost.
Hope that helps.
