Leveraging Video - Settings?

Hi,

Are there specific settings on the backend of Connect that should be set to effectively leverage live video in a room?

We ran a webinar today with live video and had an issue where the feed kept freezing. Are there any specific settings in the backend of Connect that help prioritize video so that streaming is seamless?

There are settings for the video pod in the Connect Meeting. You can find these by selecting the Preferences option in the Pod Options Menu of the Video pod or by going to the Preferences option in the Meeting menu and then go to the Video section.

From there you can choose the aspect ratio of the video and the quality setting.

As to a back-end setting you can set the initial quality setting for the live video and enable or disable the option for the Meeting Host to change the setting. This can be done at Administration > Compliance and Control > Share Settings > Room Bandwidth Settings

Other than that, it is recommended you have a hardwired connection when broadcasting live video.
