How can guests unsubscribe from email invitations?

i don't see any way to allow a guest who receives an invitation to an event to unsubscribe.    Am i missing something or is there a work-around?

There shouldn't be a need to un-subscribe. An invitation email is a one time email and they shouldn't receive any additional communications unless they register for the event they were invited to.
