Custom iOS / Android pods?

What technology do I need to use to be able to develop a custom pod that works on Android and iOS? I noticed that flash based pods do not work on either of those operating systems using the Adobe Connect for Mobile client. However, would it be possible to develop something using Flex or is that still going to be incompatible?

The problem is that Flash content (SWF's) are considered run-time code changes by Apple and Android and are not allowed. Adobe is working on HTML support within the room and mobile app to have custom pods work on all devices. This should start to be available in one of the not to distant releases.
