Natural Reader mp3 files cannot be imported

We installed Presenter 7 and tried to import mp3 audio files created in Natural Reader v 6.6. Files recorded on 'low' quality audio imported fine, but files recorded on 'normal' quality audio did not import and the message from Presenter said the files were corrupt or file type not recognized. Yet we could launch the mp3 files from Windows Explorer and they played fine. Has anyone else encountered similar issues?

Thanks

Re: Natural Reader mp3 files cannot be imported

Hi Ken,
I found this info in Presenter's documentation, about audio:

"You can import a PCM encoded WAV file and MP3 file.
PCM means Pulse Code Modulation: a method of encoding an audio signal in digital format".

I prefer import WAV files to Presenter, because I don't like convert MP3 twice .

I hope this help you.
