Filmstrip view in Connect Mobile

Greetings ... I'd like to allow a host on an iPad to perform a 'Set as Main Video' in Filmstrip view.  We launch the main meeting room from a desktop computer, then 'Switch to Filmstrip', then join with an iPad to enable another host.  Setting the main video works as expected on the desktop, but I'm yet to be successful on the iPad.  Interested in any thoughts.
