Integration of Microsoft Lync with Connect as the audio provider
Hi there,
I need to know if it's possible to have Microsoft Lync as the Audio provider of our events.
We now have Arkadin, but may be switching to Lync.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Integration of Microsoft Lync with Connect as the audio provider
The new Lync integration doesn't appear to be for audio, just to allow you to invite individuals using Lync. Look at the new features PDF, bottom of the last page.

This doesn't mean it can't be done. You may be able to set up your Lync audio service as a Universal Voice profile. Does your Lync audio service work like a traditional phone bridge?

Hi Jorma,
thanks a lot for your quick answer. I don't know yet how will the Lync look like, since it's not installed yet in my PC. I'll request to IT if they have an answer to your question and post it here.
Thanks again and regards.

If you can set up a Lync bridge as a Universal Voice bridge, it would be through the same processs as any other phone bridge in UV. I'd recommend you look at the process here and give it a try: http://www.connectusers.com/tutorials/2 … /index.php
