Using Connect Professional for Rapid eLearning
Come join Adobe, Brookwood and GetConnect at the September User Group Meeting at Adobe Offices in Newton, MA. The September User Group will feature Jeffrey Cowan, Vice President of Training Development for D&M Holdings. Jeff will discuss how D&M Holdings is using Connect to host and track the organization?s eLearning for its full compliment of brands, their distributors and retailers, and their employees. D&M?s brands include some of the most technically complex products in the consumer electronics industry. By increasing salespeople?s knowledge of these products? features and benefits, D&M anticipates a direct and measurable increase in sales.
Jacquie Beck, SVP of eLearning at Brookwood will be co-presenting with Jeff. She will discuss how her team of developers transformed D&M Holdings PowerPoint files into over 2 hours of online eLearning Using Adobe Presenter. Brookwood chunked the content into smaller modules so they could leverage the Curriculum Builder in Connect Training. Upon completion of the content, 3 separate curriculums were created to guide the students through each module. These learning paths were set up through Adobe Connect Professional which allowed book-marking, test scores, and completion status to be tracked by the system. The entire project was completed in just over 4 weeks, script-to-screen. Jacquie & Jeff will show the ?before and after? slide decks and demonstrate how the system is being used in a corporate setting.
