Can a link to a new page stay in the same window?

I have several presentations that flow from one to another via clickable links that I created in Powerpoint using the right-click "Hyperlink" feature.

Presenter recognizes these and implements them nicely, except it always opens a new window when the link is clicked.  I'd like everything to stay in the same window when a clickable link loads a new page or presentation.

Can this be done?

Thanks,
RW

Re: Can a link to a new page stay in the same window?

I have tried this several times with varrying levels of success.  The problem is really in powerpoint and not connect.  You could try to sepcify target in the URL of the hyperlink.

Like this <a href="http://www.forensiced.org" target = "_parent">Forensiced.org</a> Opens in same window

or
Like this <a href="http://www.forensiced.org" target = "_blank">Forensiced.org</a> Opens in new window

Jcooper, thanks for the idea.  However, I can't see how to add the "target" phrase when editing a hyperlink in Powerpoint.
