Audio Jack headset not recognized/can't be selected as my mic?
I have recently fallen in love with a Bose headset. I use it for all my phone calls, Skype etc. But Connect does not recognize it.
I tried Audio Wizard, still no luck.
Does Connect only recognize USB headsets? Any fixes?

Re: Audio Jack headset not recognized/can't be selected as my mic?
Thanks but as I mentioned above, I had already tried the Audio Wizard. It does not seem to see my Bose headphones. So my question is:
Is that because it uses audio jack--maybe Connect only likes USB headsets? Or is there a work around? :-)

Re: Audio Jack headset not recognized/can't be selected as my mic?
It won't recognize them as Bose headphones if they are a line in. Here are my Bose headphones with a mic:
When using thes in Connect I need to plug them in to my computer, so the computer recognizes that I have headphones plugged in, and then select my audio card (Realtek High Definition Audio). Your audio card may have a different name than mine, but it will never say Bose when using a 35mm jack equiped headphone/mic.
Connect works just fine with line in or USB headsets.
