Connect classroom repeatedly freezing

Hi

We use Adobe connect to give weekly webinar classes to medical practitioners in different countries. We started the classes in August and had occasional problems with the room freezing, requiring a re-boot to start the classroom. The problem has been getting worse - today's class had five freezes in the first hour and the class had to be abandoned. I have tried different browsers (chrome, firefox, safari), have re-downloaded the most up to date flash version and adobe add-ins several times. My computer passes the adobe troubleshooting check as 'ok'. Using a LAN connection in Portland Oregon, upload speed is 42Mbps on download, 21 Mbps upload. Pods open in room are chat pod, sharescreen for watching pfd's of slides and sharescreen for presenter video. Have tried using different video cameras (imac inbuilt, logitech) and different audio sources (USB mic and onboard). Have tried lowering video and presentation resolution in meeting preferences. All to no avail.

Adobe tech support contacted 3 times - not helpful 'you need to reinstall flash, use a different browser etc.'.

About ready to give up on this system unless we can find a fix to the problem.

Any ideas from the more experienced users?

Thanks.

Re: Connect classroom repeatedly freezing

Is this issue isolated to just you or all all users seeing the room freez requiring everyone to restart their computers? If it is just you, have you tried running your class from a different computer? This would help isolate if the issue is something on your computer or not.

Is there a particular workflow that causes the the room to freeze?

Since there are a lot of moving parts to Connect, we may need to work on narrowing the issue down.
