PowerPoint internal links work for presenter but not participants

A client of mine is having trouble with a PowerPoint they want to us with Adobe Connect. Some of the internal powerpoint links work, but some of them work only for the presenter. Participants go to the wrong slide.

Has anyone had this problem before? Is there a fix?
