Connect with Blackmagic Intensity

I'm trying to use an external video camera and mic connected to a Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle box into a newer iMac through Thunderbolt. Adobe Connect doesn't seem to recognize the video portion of the signal though it does seem to "see" the audio. Does Connect support video from Blackmagic boxes/cards? It doesn't have to be HD. The Blackmagic input signal is DV resolution SD.
