Participants don't have the ability to make changes to the room, only Hosts do. Presenters have limited ability to modify settings for things like Audio and Video quality settings, but you can eliminate that by using enhanced participant rights.

The idea being you grant a participant (or multiple participants) rights to share their video or use the share pod, and they can then interact with the tools as a participant, but they will not have the ability to make changes to the tools.
