Sound markers in imported sound file?

Hi,
I would like to learn more about sound markers. What are they? How do I create them? How can I use them? Can I create a sound file with sound markers and then import the file into Presenter so that the sound sections are imported into the correct slides and also that all animations are synched?
Greatful for your advice and hints!
Kind regards,
Jonas

Re: Sound markers in imported sound file?

As I understand it, sound markers will only frustrate you, as you will not be able to make adjustments to them in Presenter. In Presenter after you import and audio file, you can then go to Synchronize audio and sync your animiations (that are cued "on click") to the imported audio. You could also go into the Edit audio tool and move the "click markers" to where you want to cue the animations.

Re: Sound markers in imported sound file?

Hi Jorma,
Yes, I use the edit function in Presenter when the sound files are in a language I understand. But we also produce Presentations in Japanese and Mandarin, and in this case my thought is that sound markers might be of use. However that is a wild guess!
Kind regards,
Jonas
